We take reservations up to one year in advance.  Returning guests frequently seek to book event and holiday weeks long in advance.  We do our best to keep these weeks available but demand is high. 

A standard night is a period that does not involve a U.S. holiday or major event at Hamilton College or Colgate University.

Details

Holiday & Event Periods at Hamilton College and Colgate University:

• Parents Weekend, Commencement Weekend, Reunion Weekend

State and local taxes apply.  Two night minimum may be required during holiday and event periods.  Dogs are only allowed at the Oriskany House.  Use of other buildings and grounds (such as pool) on the property are not included.

Rental Terms

Harding Farm is a private family property.  Our guests at Harding Farm are seeking a quiet, cozy and comfortable experience in a charming and convenient environment.  As such, we have learned that the following rules and guidelines are appropriate to make every guest's experience special.  

Check-In - 3 pm

Check-Out - 11 am 

Smoking - Smoking is not allowed in any building at Harding Farm as all of the buildings are historic and made of wood.  

Size of Group: The number of attendees in your party shall not exceed the number of beds in the house you are renting. 

On Site Parties: No guest shall have a party on site without prior approval from the owners of Harding Farm.

Parking - Guests are allowed to have two cars on site.  If you plan to have more than two cars, please seek prior approval from the owners of Harding Farm.

Pets and Animals - Pets are only allowed in the Oriskany House where a fenced in yard is available.  Pets are not allowed in any other house.

Utilities - You are welcome to control the heat and electricity at your convenience.  Of course for expense and environmental reasons, we ask that you turn the heat down and lights off when not in use.

Barns, Grounds and Equipment - Visitors to Harding Farm rent specific guest houses only. Guests are welcome to walk the grounds, hike the woods and use the swings but the barns, shed, tractor, pool and shed are strictly off limits.  

Terms & Conditions - If any of these rules are violated, the owners of Harding Farm retain the right to take whatever action is deemed appropriate including but not limited to additional financial charges or even expulsion.   

About Harding Farm

Harding Farm is a private property located in the beautiful village of Clinton, New York.  It is located next door to Hamilton College and a short drive from Colgate University and the New York State Thruway.  The Farm has three guest houses available for overnight rental.  The entire property is available for weddings, family reunions and special events.
